Professor Phillip (Phill) Dawson is the Associate Director of the Centre for Research in Assessment and Digital Learning (CRADLE) at Deakin University. He researches assessment, feedback and academic integrity.
His feedback research focuses on designing effective feedback, and helping people to develop the skills necessary to deal with feedback.
Phill is also active in Melbourne’s comedy scene. He produces and performs in The Peer Revue, which celebrates researchers from around Melbourne through improvised comedy. Phill holds a PhD in education, several awards for his teaching, and he has performed for the past two years in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
