ABOUT THE APLS MANUAL

The 7th Edition of ‘Advanced Paediatric Life Support: The Practical Approach' is a comprehensive clinical handbook for the wide range of paediatric emergencies.

This text is a companion to the structured approach practised on APLS and ALSG courses. The manual was first produced by the UK’s Advanced Life Support Group in 1993. Adapted specifically for use in Australia and New Zealand by APLS Australia, the 7th Edition is a trusted resource used by qualified medical professionals dealing with emergencies involving paediatric patients. With a clear layout and straightforward style, this text can be used as a functional tool both for training and in the event of an emergency.

Digital - Manuals are supplied in an interactive e-book format. Candidates will be emailed a code to access the e-book via Wiley E-Text (not a PDF).

A digital copy of the manual is included with registration to every APLS, 2 Day Refresher and PLS course. Previous editions of the manual are not suitable for any current APLS training program.
