What's new in paediatric asthma research? Charmaine Gray from the PREDICT research network summarises the latest trials, evidence and guidelines. 

Speaker biography: 
Charmaine is a Consultant at Flinders Emergency Department and Senior Clinical Lecturer at Flinders University. She is a member of the Paediatric Research in Emergency Departments International Collaborative (PREDICT) and is currently undertaking a PhD at Adelaide University, with a focus on research techniques in studies of acute severe asthma and how to incorporate qualitative work into core outcome sets. She is passionate about teaching and encouraging others to engage in the field of research. She spends much of her time outside work pretending she has a work/life balance and trying to run her family life like an ED with limited success.
